About the game
Welcome to the Climate Change Conference! You have been sent by your countries to discuss worrying studies that say the world is on the brink of ecological collapse. Surely you will do anything to save the planet, right? Absolutely… at least if it means preserving the prosperity of your countries… and the lobbies that pull the strings behind the scenes. Once all the studies have been dealt with, the country that has been best able to maintain its prosperity will win. But if at any point the damage to the environment becomes too serious, the conference will fail immediately and the greediest will not win. But you would never allow that to happen… or would you?
Kyoto is exciting, unusual and satirically revealing. It plays out like a political thriller, at the end of which all too often comes the realization: money rules the world... and will ruin it.
