Personal
If you would like to present your game to us in person, you can do so at the games fair in Essen, for example. But be sure to make an appointment with us in advance. You can request an appointment using our contact form.
We would like to ask you not to write us long emails with attached game instructions or to send us unsolicited prototypes!
What should the prototype of your game look like?
If we like your idea and request a prototype of your game or if you present your game to us in person, please note the following:
Your prototype does not have to be perfectly illustrated. It is much more important to us that it is functionally playable and that your game idea has been sufficiently tested and the feedback received has been sensibly incorporated. The most critical point is usually the game instructions. We have to be able to play the game with them and discover what is special about it. It is therefore extremely important that these have also been sufficiently tested. For this purpose, we recommend giving the prototype and the game instructions to a group of friends to test. Of course, they should not know the game yet. This way, any errors and questions about understanding can be quickly identified.
